Judy has been an integral part of the Steinhardt Development team for 7 years, focusing primarily on writing and working with faculty members on proposal development. She grew up in Port Washington, NY and attended Western College for Women, an international college in Ohio (now part of Miami University), where her experience included a period of study in the Middle East. Before coming to Steinhardt, Judy worked in publishing and advertising. In her free time she sings with St. Cecilia's chorus and enjoys reading.

Erin has been a member of the Steinhardt Development and Alumni Relations team for four and a half years, first as a Development Officer and now as Director of Major Gifts. She grew up in Stamford, CT and attended Stamford public schools before going on to earn a BFA in Painting at Cornell University and an MA in Visual Arts Administration at Steinhardt. Before coming to Steinhardt, Erin worked in Development at the American Museum of Natural History and Metropolitan Museum of Art. In her free time, she hikes and skis.

Lisa came on board in November to provide general administrative support to the Steinhardt Development and Alumni Relations team. She grew up in Maryland and graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Journalism & Mass Media in 2000. Lisa has worked in television production, project management at Columbia University, and, most recently, as the Office Manager for an art handling company in Long Island City. She intends to earn her MA in Teaching English as a Second Language at Steinhardt.

Sam, a Massachusetts native, fell in love with New York City in 2002 when she came to study Communications at Steinhardt and swim for the NYU Women's Swim Team. After graduation in 2006, she began her career in Development at the 92nd Street Y. Sam is thrilled to be back on her old stomping ground, rejoining the Steinhardt family as Senior Development Associate.

Natalie joined the Steinhardt team in December to work primarily on Alumni Relations with Erin Stahl Cohen. She grew up in central Pennsylvania and graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Music. Before coming to Steinhardt, Natalie worked in Development at New York Law School.
Steve Sagner, Assistant Dean for Development & Alumni Relations

Steve Sagner became Steinhardt's Assistant Dean for Development & Alumni Relations last August. From 2003-07, he was Director of Development for NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. He has also been the Director of Development for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a national, community-development support organization, and the Director of Programs & Contracts for Good Shepherd Services, a renowned NYC youth development organization. Steve ran Good Shepherd's John Jay High School Liberty Partnership, a college readiness program for at-risk Brooklyn high school students, from 1988 to 1992. He earned his BA at Columbia and his MPA in public finance at NYU Wagner. He's the husband of Jennifer, the father of Denali and Sarah, the walker of Red the beagle, and a lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan.

Erin joined Steinhardt in November as the Associate Director of Alumni Relations. She grew up in southern New Hampshire and attended the University of Vermont, where she studied history and political science. Following college, Erin worked for four years as part of the Annual Fund team at Harvard Law School. In 2004 Erin joined the Peddie School, a private boarding high school in Hightstown, NJ, to become the Director of Annual Giving and Special Events. During her time at Peddie, Erin lived on campus and worked closely with students as an academic advisor. She and her husband relocated to New York City last summer.
